Description
Truly beautiful vintage NOS (new old stock) wheelset. It is very rare to find such a beautiful set that is completely unused.
Rear wheel: A Sachs Torpedo 3-speed rear hub, model H3111, with coaster brake, laced to a beautiful, high-quality double-wall aluminum rim from Alesa, with double eyelet reinforcements, an attractive silver anodized finish, and stainless steel spokes.
Front wheel: An Atom hub with nut fastening, built with an Alesa rim matching the rear wheel, likewise with stainless steel spokes.
The Sachs Torpedo 3-speed hub is sold without a sprocket or other accessories. However, everything can be purchased from us. You may also wish to see our section with Sachs Torpedo spare parts. Just write to us if you have any questions—we are ready to help.
For the sake of clarity, it should be mentioned that the wheels are for tire-and-inner-tube installation (clincher).
