Installation and angle adjustment

Install the brake pad by passing the threaded bolt through the mounting hole in the brake arm and securing it with the included washers and nut.

The washers allow you to adjust the brake pad’s angle and position so it follows the rim’s braking surface correctly. The pad must contact the braking surface across its entire contact area and must not touch the tire.

Once the angle and position are correctly set, tighten the nut securely. Then check that the wheel spins freely, the brake pads contact the rim correctly, and the brakes work safely before riding the bike.
