Brief technical explanation

• In the lower gears, the wheel is driven via the planetary gears and gear ring, with the coaster brake connected to the gear ring.

• The middle gear (4th gear) uses a direct connection to the gear ring's pawls, while the brake cone freewheels backward.

• Higher gears connect the driver to the planetary carrier, while the coaster brake remains active via the gear ring.

• Shifting requires a compatible shifter, cable, and Click Box, which translates the shifting movement into a concentric push rod.
