MKS BM-7 Pedals | 1/2" Thread | Silver

The MKS BM-7 is a true classic from Japanese manufacturer Mikashima (MKS). The pedal was launched in the late 1970s and quickly became highly popular on BMX bikes worldwide. Its simple and robust design has made the BM-7 one of MKS’s best-known models, and it remains an obvious choice for restoring classic bikes and for new retro projects.

The pedal is made in Japan with a focus on quality and durability. The wide aluminium body provides a stable platform with good grip, while the traditional adjustable cup-and-cone bearings ensure smooth, easy rotation and allow servicing after many years of use. The classic polished silver finish is a perfect match for period-correct BMX bikes, cruisers, and other bikes with 1/2" pedal threads.

A 1/2" pedal thread is typically found on BMX bikes, children's bikes, and older city bikes and utility bikes with a Fauber crank, such as many Swedish bikes, including Monark and Crescent. Most modern adult bikes, on the other hand, use the larger 9/16" pedal thread.
